This manual consists of two parts; the first part contains safety precautions and descriptions of the procedures when installing the SpaLet, and the second part contains visual installation methods. Please use this manual in reference to each part. Hold the plug or socket when connecting or disconnecting the power plug or socket. If the plug or socket is connected or disconnected by holding the cord, there is a danger of fire or electric shock due to the plug or socket or cord becoming damaged.
Do not attach the product to any water source other than potable water. It may cause electric shock, fire and skin inflammation due corrosion of electronic parts inside the seat unit. Do not disassemble or modify the product. It may cause electric shock or fire. Do not use loose outlet. It may cause electric shock or fire. CAUTION Install a high-sensitivity, high-speed ground fault circuit interrupter (with a rated current value of 15 mA or below) on the primary side of the power supply.
POWER SUPPLY INSTALLATION POSITION OF THE REMOTE CONTROL Install the cord and outlet according to the specifications below. The power distribution work should be done by an electrical contractor. ●● Use an AC120V power supply with a consumption rating. If the product is used with other electric appliances, set the corresponding number of outlets. ●● The wiring should be appropriate for the rated power consumption.
FIRMLY FIX THE WATER SUPPLY PIPE An impact applied to the hose due to high water pressure may cause vibrations. Fix the water supply pipe firmly so that it does not loosen. There is a danger vibration or flooding.

Installation Procedure 1 Mounting the SpaLet Bowl 2 Attaching the water shutoff valve [See Note 2-1] 1. Remove the open/close knob 2. Affix the water shutoff valve to the water supply pipe. Open/close knob Perform this step after finishing the wall and floor. Attach the sealing material (sealing tapes) to the threaded section. * Hook the tool on the hook setting (hex) on the water shutoff valve, and fasten it.
3 Mounting the Seat Unit 3. Affix the seat unit. Installation diagram ① Place the washers (two) and spring washer over each fixing bolt, and affix the nut. ② Fasten the nut by hand. 4 Connecting the Water Supply Hose Installation diagram Do not apply excessive force when connecting the water supply hose. [Note 4-1] ●● Remove the cap on the water supply hose water shutoff valve immediately prior to attaching the water shutoff valve. * During installation, debris may enter the water supply hose, resulting in a valve malfunction.

Install the water supply hose to the water supply inlet. ●● Be careful not to impact the power plug, or let it fall into the SpaLet bowl. 6 Connecting to the Power Supply 1. Connect the power plug to the outlet. WARNING Power plug GROUND 2. Check that the power is on. Confirm that the power indicator on the seat unit are illuminated. ●●Flush button (indicator) Power indicator -11 EN- Ensure the electrical outlet to which the power cord is connected is properly grounded, as failure to do so may cause electric shock, etc.
7 Positioning and Mounting the Remote Control ●●Remote control installation position ●● Sit on the SpaLet seat and ensure the installation position. [See Note 7-1] Install the remote control to a position where the user can reach and operate it. Install the remote control in the area shown as “Suggested installation area” in the figure below, and ensure to install the remote control on a position where it can be operated easily while the user is seated on the SpaLet seat.
[Note 7-1] [Note 7-2] ●● Ensure to install the batteries in the correct direction (note the negative and positive). ●● Do not mix old and new batteries. ●● Use the supplied batteries. ●● Ensure that there is enough space above the remote control installation position to allow easy removal and mount of Remote control space the remote control (see the 240 mm (9-7/16") figure below). 45 mm (1-3/4") 8 Test Operation (Follow the steps below to conduct a test operation when installation is completed.
9 Mounting the Side Cover 1. Attach the side covers on both sides. [See Note 9-1], [See Reference 9-1], [See Reference 9-2] ① Insert the “clip” on the upper side of the side cover into the “clip holder” on the SpaLet bowl Align the lines of the SpaLet bowl and the side ② cover, and attach the side cover to the “Velcro fastener” on the lower side of the SpaLet bowl.
If the water does not flow well, clean the strainer. (1) Close the water shutoff valve to stop the water supply. [See Note 10-1] (2) Press the [FLUSH/FULL] button or press the flush button on the SpaLet body. * Wait approximately 20 seconds. * Drain the water and remove the water pressure inside the toilet body. (3) Remove the side cover on the left (when facing the SpaLet body). (4) Rotate and remove the strainer on the lower left when facing to the SpaLet.
When multiple bidets are installed: When multiple bidets are installed, a bidet in other booth may also respond to the signal and malfunction. To prevent this, you can change the signal using the remote control unit you purchased. Change both the emitting signal (remote control unit) and receiving signal (bidet body). 1.
