20 Year Limited Warranty for CoverLite Polycarbonate Corrugated Sheets
AmeriLux International LLC warrants the original purchaser that, for a period of 20 (twenty) years from the date of
original purchase, CoverLite Polycarbonate Corrugated Sheets will not rot, corrode, mold or mildew when kept clean
through semi-annual washing to remove accumulated dirt.
The warranty applies only to sheets stored, installed, cleaned, and maintained in accordance with AmeriLux
International LLC’s recommendations and standard construction practices. It does not apply to any failure due to
damage caused by hail, fire, unusual stress or any other conditions beyond the control of AmeriLux International LLC.
If CoverLite Polycarbonate Corrugated Sheets do not perform as stated during the warranty period, AmeriLux
International LLC shall supply replacement sheets or, at the option of AmeriLux International LLC, refund the
retailer’s purchase price thereof.
A pro rata depreciation charge of 5% per year will be applied to the original purchaser’s purchase price of the panels.
AmeriLux International LLC shall have no liability whatsoever for the cost of original installation, removal of defective
sheets, or the installation of replacement sheets and shall not be liable for any consequential or other loss, damage,
misuses, improper storage, neglect or misapplication of the product.
The warranties herein are made to the original purchaser from any authorized retailer, are personal to him, and shall
not inure to the benefit of subsequent purchasers, transferees, assignees, successors or receivers.
Conditions
This warranty applies only to CoverLite Polycarbonate Corrugated Sheets which are treated, installed, cleaned and
maintained according to AmeriLux International LLC’s recommendations. It is important to note that CoverLite
Polycarbonate Corrugated Sheets are protected on one side with a special weathering Ultra-Violet (UV) radiation
prevention treatment. This protected side must be installed on the exterior side of the installation for this warranty to
be in effect.
This warranty specifically excludes CoverLite Polycarbonate Corrugated Sheets that have been formed or molded by
vacuum or heat methods.
AmeriLux International LLC or its accredited agent must be notified in writing of every claim within the warranty period
and immediately after occurrence of the defect, enclosing the label, sales receipt, and this warranty. The claimant
must certify that the conditions above have been fulfilled and must allow inspection at the installation site.
The warranties of AmeriLux International LLC as expressed herein are the exclusive warranties and there are
no other warranties, expressed or implied, including the warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular
purpose.
