Using a square point shovel begin digging a trench the
width of the Channel Guard to desired area. Keep center
of trench level to insure proper installation. When installing
the Channel Guard for downspout diverter applications
make sure the trench is sloped away from the foundation
for proper drainage.
Last to secure from any lifting, backll Channel Guard
with rock or any other landscaping material.
Next insert Channel Guard into ground keeping the top
bead of the side walls 1/2 in. above trenched area.
If connecting more than one Channel Guard snap the top
beads of each piece under one another.
