Product Limited One Year Warranty
This product is manufactured according to exacting quality control standards and warranted to be free of manufacturing defects. If
your product is discovered to be defective within one year of purchase, return the remaining product to the place of purchase with
proof of purchase, and Ames Research Laboratories, Inc., with reasonable evidence that the product is defective, and not frozen,
Ames® will replace that product with a product of equal value or another product or at our sole option refund the difference of the
purchase price and remaining shown to be defective product.
Under no circumstances shall Ames Research Laboratories, Inc. or its affiliates, stores, store sales personnel or company sales
people be liable for incidental, consequential or other damages from alleged negligence, breach of warranty, strict liability or any
other theory arising out of the use or handling of these products.
The sole liability of Ames Research Laboratories, Inc. and its affiliates for any claims arising out of the manufacture, use, or sale
of its product is limited and shall be for the buyer’s purchase price only. Neither Ames Research Laboratories, Inc. nor its affiliates
assume any obligation or liability for the information contained within its documents, labels, or internet suggestions or directions
or the results obtained on testing or claims of Ames Research Laboratories, Inc.
The information in this document is provided without warranty and is to be utilized by customers using the product at the customers’
sole risk. Customers must conduct their own tests in actual use conditions before commercial or residential use of the product. The
information on the label, on the internet, on the product package itself, or on the specifications is simply a suggestion. Any
suggestions are also provided without warranty. Since the environment differs across the country and world, the customers must
conduct their own test in actual use conditions before using the product. With the purchase of the product, the customers
acknowledge acceptance of these terms.
Other Exclusions (Roof or Roof Deck): This guarantee in no way implies replacement due to product failure from improper
application, inadequate rooftop drainage, or ponding. Proper application is a part, but not limited to, the specifications that the
product will be applied in a continuous, unbroken seal of a minimum dry thickness or no less than 30 mils (the thickness of a
dime). The user is responsible for complying with local construction methods of applications and laws. This warranty is in place
of any implied warranty of merchantability and all other warranties expressed or implied. This guarantee applies only to the
distributor or purchaser of the product and cannot be extended to any other person or entity.
This warranty is not an insurance policy to guarantee or to warranty an improperly prepared surface. Surfaces must be clean and
dry before the coating application. Users must run a test patch first in an inconspicuous area to ensure that proper adhesion and
drying occurs and the product works to their satisfaction before proceeding with application. No warranty is given for the actual
application or the inability to apply the product on a good substrate, an unsavable substrate, whether it be roof, wall, deck floor,
or some other creative application, designed by the user or users themselves. Ames Research Laboratories, Inc. may make some
suggestions of other used applications designed by others who have been successful but not necessarily approved architecturally
applications but assumes no responsibility for suggestions made by its sales personnel or those suggestions made outside this
company or corporation. By purchasing these products users assume sole responsibility for applications or uses of these products.
Adhesion Exclusions (Concrete surface floor or Roof): This warranty does not determine whether the surface is a savable surface
in anyway whatsoever. Some surfaces are not savable, and in poor disrepair and users are responsible for making this
determination and in restoring their job to a savable condition.
There is no warranty for any surface such as concrete that has decomposed or deteriorated. Users must determine whether the
surface was properly prepared, high pressure washed properly to shot blasted, and if in winter months, the roof, wall or deck
surface is going to be under water for long periods of time.
Frozen Product Exclusions: Frozen product will solidify and is not covered under product defect warranty. Product must be
protected from freezing. Since the manner and condition of application are beyond our control, seller or manufacturer shall not be
liable for any injury, loss or damage, direct or consequential arising out of the use or the inability to use this product. This is a
Do-It-Yourself product. Purchasers or users assume all responsibility for uses or applications of the product.
