Aut hent icat ion Type: There are t hree t ype of authent ication m odes support ed by
RaConfig. They are open, Shared, WPA- PSK and WPA syst em .
802.1x Sett ing: I t will display t o set when user use radius server to aut hent icat e
client cert ificat e for WPA aut hent icat ion m ode. The detail operat ion will explain in
section 5
Encrypt ion Type: For open and shared aut henticat ion m ode, the select ion of
encrypt ion t ype are None and WEP. For WPA, WPA2, WPA- PSK and WPA2- PSK
aut hent icat ion m ode, t he encrypt ion t ype support s bot h TKI P and AES.
WPA Pre- shared Key: This is t he shared secret between AP and STA. For
WPA- PSK and WPA2- PSK aut hent icat ion m ode, t his field m ust be filled wit h
character longer t han 8 and less t han 32 lengt h.
WEP Key: Only valid when using WEP encryption algorit hm . The key m ust
m atched AP’s key. There are several form at s t o enter the keys.
1. Hexadecim al ( 40bit s) : 10 Hex characters.
2. Hexadecim al ( 128bit s) : 32Hex characters.
3. ASCI I ( 40bit s) : 5 ASCI I characters.
4. ASCI I ( 128bit s) : 13 ASCI I charact ers.
