Profile
Profile can book keeping your favorit e wireless set t ing am ong your hom e, office,
and ot her public hot spot . You m ay save m ult iple profiles, and act ivat e the correct
one at your preference. Figure 5- 1 shows t he profile page sett ing.

Definit ion of each field:
1. Profile: Nam e of profile, preset t o PROF* (* indicat e 1, 2, 3,) .
2. SSI D: AP or Ad- hoc nam e.
3. Cannel: Channel in use for Ad- Hoc m ode.
4. Aut hent icat ion: Authent icat ion m ode.
5. Encryption: Security algorit hm in use.
6. Net work Type: Net work’s t ype, including infrast ruct ure and Ad- Hoc.
Connect ion st at us
I ndicat e connect ion is successful on current ly act ivat ed profile.
I ndicat e connect ion is failed on currently act ivated profile.
Note: When use sit e survey to m ake t he connect ion. None of the profile will have
the connect ion st at us icon.
