Sit e Survey
Under the site survey page, system will display the inform ation of surrounding APs
from last scan result . List inform at ion’s include SSI D, BSSI D, Signal, Channel,
Encrypt ion algorithm , and Net work t ype as Figure 3- 1 shown.

Definit ion of each field
1. SSI D: Nam e of BSS of I BSS net work.
2. BSSI D: MAC address of AP or random ly generat ed of I BSS.
3. Signal: Receive signal st rength of specified net work.
4. Channel: Channel in use.
5. Encryption: Encrypt ion algorithm used wit hin than BSS or I BSS. Valid
value includes WEP, TKI P, AES, and Not Use.
6. Aut hent icat ion: Authent icat ion m ode used wit hin t he net work, including
Unknown, WPA- PSK, WPA2- PSK, WPA and WPA2.
7. Net work Type: Net work t ype in use, I nfrast ruct ure for BSS, Ad- Hoc for
I BSS net work.
Connect ed net work:
1. When RaConfig first ran, it will select the best AP to connect aut om at ically.
2. I f user wants to connect t o other AP. He can double click m ouse on t he
int ended AP t o m ake connect ion.
3. I f t he intended network has encryption ot her than “ Not Use ” , RaConfig
will bring up t he securit y page and let use input the appropriat e inform at ion
to m ake t he connect ion. Please refer to section 4 on how t o fill t he securit y
