Backlight
The display and keypad are illuminated by a backlight. When you
press any key, the backlight illuminates. It automatically turns off if
no key is pressed within a given period of time, depending on the
Backlight Option set in the Phone setting menu (refer to
Settings/Mobile/Backlight).
External Display
Your phone has an external display on the cover, it indicates that you
have an incoming call or message, and notifies you at the specified
time when you set an alarm or a log, without having to open the
phone.
CALL FUNCTIONS
Making Calls
Before you can make or receive a call, you must turn on the phone and
be within range of a network.
1. In Standby mode, enter the phone number. (If you make a
mistake while dialing, use  or  key to move the cursor to the
right of the digit, press the right soft key to erase it; Press and
hold to erase the entire number.)
