Using Internet sharing
When you connect your phone to a PC or
laptop computer, Internet Sharing allows you to
use your phone as an external modem for the
computer.
To set up the phone as a modem
(1) Use the USB data cable to connect your
phone with your PC. The PC will
automatically detect that your phone has
been connected, and you can install the
USB RNDIS drive on the Getting Started
CD.
(2) While connecting the network line, select
[Network Neighborhood] on PC then
click [Properties→Local Connection→
Forbidden] with the Right Soft Key
to disconnect the current network.
(3) After finishing installation, confirm that the
RNDIS network card has been added to
the network adapter in the Device
manager of your PC. If it has, then the
drive has been installed successfully.
(4) At this time, the phone can be used as an
external modem for PC, and you can
access the Internet.
