Using Bluetooth

12. Using Bluetooth
Bluetooth is a short-range wireless
communications technology. Devices with
Bluetooth capabilities can exchange
information over a distance of about 10 meters
without requiring a physical connection. You
can even beam information to a device in a
different room, as long as it is within the
Bluetooth signal coverage range.
Turning Bluetooth on or off
You can enable Bluetooth by clicking the
On/Off switch in Comm Manager. You can also
do the following:
(1) On the Home screen, click [Start →
More→Settings → Connections →
Bluetooth].
(2) Click [Menu→Turn On Bluetooth], press
the Navigation Key
to activate it. Your
phone can now receive the connection
request of all Bluetooth-enabled devices.
(3) Click <Done>.
(4) To turn off Bluetooth capabilities on your
phone, click [Menu→Turn Off Bluetooth],
then press the Navigation Key
again.
