Making a call
To make a call from the Home screen
(1) From the Home Screen, access the Phone
Screen by pressing the SEND Key
or by pressing the numeric keys on the
keypad.
(2) After entering the phone number, press the
SEND Key
.
Notice:
When your press a numeric key on the keypad, a
list of names and numbers appears as the phone
automatically searches Contacts, Call History,
Speed Dial and your SIM card to find a matching
name or number. For example, when you press a
number such as
(including the number “1”
and the letter “E”), the names that begin with E
will be displayed as well as phone numbers that
begin with 1. The next number you press continues
to narrow the search. When you see the name of the
person you want to dial, select it and press the
SEND Key
.
To make a call from contacts
(1) Press the Right Soft Key or click
[Start→Contacts] from the Home Screen
to enter the Contacts screen.
(2) Do one of the following:
Select the desired contact, and press the
SEND Key
.
Select the desired contact in the contact list,
and press the Navigation Key
twice
(once to view the contact details, and once to
dial the associated number).
