5. Synchronising Information
Connecting your phone to
your PC (USB mass storage)
You can use the phone as a USB flash disk to
store information, which is very convenient and
helpful for your work and life.
(1) Insert an USB data cable to the USB port
of PC, then connect the phone, at this time,
ActiveSync software will connect and
activate automatically.
(2) Click [My Computer→Mobile Device] on
PC, so you can have some operations on
files (such as new, copy, cut, paste,
delete).
(3) To view the downloaded or copied pictures
or ringtone, you can enter [File Explorer],
select a folder and click [Menu→My
Device], and then you can view the
current file, such the downloaded audio
file.
Caution:
It is advisable not to delete the preset system folders
of phone on the PC
Using ActiveSync
About ActiveSync
ActiveSync synchronises information on your
phone with information on your PC. ActiveSync
can also synchronise over a wireless network
with Exchange Server if your company or
service provider is running Exchange Server
with Exchange ActiveSync.
To access ActiveSync from the Home Screen,
click [Start→ActiveSync].
Specifically, you can use ActiveSync to:
