R User and Installation Guide Note: This product requires the Model 400 Multi Channel Audio Transmitter for operation (not included). Unpacking: Check that this package contains: One 5.8 GHz Wireless Audio receiver - Model 400, one 9 V AC adapter (wallwart), one dual RCA cable. Step 1 Selecting the audio channels Select the wireless audio channels which the receiver should receive by using a small screwdriver and toggling the red switch at the bottom of the receiver.
User and Installation Guide Step 2 Connecting the receiver Connect the DC power input of the receiver with the supplied 9 V AC adapter (wallwart). Connect the receiver to active loudspeakers, active subwoofers or an audio amplifier via the supplied RCA audio cable. ATTENTION! Do not connect the receiver to passive speakers! R User and Installation Guide Step 3 Placing the receiver For best reception, we recommend that the receiver be placed within the line of sight from the transmitter. If possible, the receiver should be placed right side up with its front toward the transmitter. Example 1 below shows the optimum placement of the receiver. If no line of sight is possible, place the receiver such that there is the minimum possible number of walls and obstacles between the transmitter and receiver.
