USING YOUR ANSWERING MACHINE
Using your answering machine
After you’ve set up your phone system, follow these easy steps to set up and
use your answering machine.
Switch answering machine on or off
To switch your answering machine on and off, simply press on the base.
The current answer mode will be announced.
When new messages are received, the message counter on the base and the
base indicator light will ash. The message counter also indicates the number
of messages you have.
Set the answering machine language
You have a choice of three answering machine voice prompt languages:
English, German or French.
1. Press and hold
on the base for 10 seconds until you see two letters
appear in the message counter display on the base.
2.
= English, = French and = German. Repeat the above procedure until
the setting you require is displayed.
Adjust the base loudspeaker volume
You can increase or decrease the base loudspeaker volume using the
and
buttons on the base. The volume level will be shown on the base
message counter, e.g. LI-5.
