Using your answering machine

After you’ve set up your phone system, follow these easy steps to set up and

use your answering machine.

Switch answering machine on or off

To switch your answering machine on and off, simply press .

The current answer mode will be announced. When new messages are re-

ceived, the indicator light on the corded phone will flash. The display also

shows the number of messages you have.

Taking a call from the answering machine

If the answering machine has accepted a call yet and you hear the caller speak-

ing his message you can take the call to your phone and talk to the caller.

Lift the handset and talk to the caller.

Set the answering machine language

You have a choice of 6 answering machine voice prompt languages: English,

German, French, Italian, Spanish and Dutch.
