Under the audio settings select the input audio driver type in the top window.
In Mac OSX, this will be CoreAudio. In Windows it will be DirectX or ASIO.
To the right of this selection, choose the audio interface the guitar is to be
plugged into. This will be the name of the audio interface. e.g. When you use
an extra USB device/interface, you should choose “USB Audio CODEC”.
The “Channel selection will choose the input that the guitar is plugged
into. If the guitar is plugged into the first input on the soundcard, it will
probably be input 1 or Left if using a standard stereo input soundcard. If
using a larger studio type of audio interface, then check the input on the
sound card and make sure it matches the one selected in “Channel”.
The Output audio driver will typically be the same as the input audio driver.
When you choose the sound card as output, you will only get the sound from
the output of your computer.
