The Amprobe PY-1A Voltage Tester is compact and easy to
use. Designed for the professional electrician and home
user alike, this solidly built electrical tester will deliver years
of trouble-free service. The bright series of neon lights
indicates detected AC voltage at 120, 240, 277, and 480
V and DC voltage at 160, 330, 380 and 600 V. Using the
two integrated test leads, the unit automatically displays
detected AC or DC voltage from receptacles, appliances,
computers, wire cables, circuit breakers, junction boxes,
and other electrical circuits. The test probes can be snapped
into the back of the unit for convenient storage or for
one-handed receptacle testing. The unit is designed for use
on both energized and non-energized circuits and tests
current up to 3.5 mA.
Safety Certication
