conversiontobedoneatthemodulelevel.Ourcustomersrequire minimallostharvest
from local soiling, shading, or panel imbalance– so with regards to local power conversion, there is no more
suitableeconomicalternative.
Webelievethatthepowerconversionhastobeextremelyefficientoveraverywiderange
–soourproductsare
over99%efficientovergreaterthan3:1inputrange.Toputthatintocontext,theAmptSPTconsumesonly,upto
2Woftheenergygeneratedbya200Wmodule–relativelyspeakingthatisthesamelossasexpectedfromenergy
travelingthrough3
feetofconventionalwirecabling.
WebelievethathighspeedMPP isverycriticaltomaximizeharvest–wehaveover99.9% accurate MPPin100
milliseconds.Therefore,wecancapturethepowergainfromtheedgeofacloudandtherefractedirradiationona
module.
We believe that maximizing
the number of modules per string is important. The Ampt product is dynamically
controlled,andwecancommunicatewirelesslytoourfieldadaptablefirmware.
We believe that reliability is a huge drive of economics – so we have an environmentally validated (not
superficiallymodeled)1000yearMTBF.
We believe that
high accuracy and stable instrumentation combined with robust communication is crucial for
large‐scalearraysandbeneficialforallsmallerarrays.Itlowersinstallationcosts,andradicallyreducesO&Mwhile
maximizingtheeconomicsofharvesting.Wehaveabetterthan1%fieldcalibrate‐ablemeasurementsystemthat
includesmultiplechannels
ofcriticalelectricalandtemperatureparameters,aswellasidentityinformation–per
module.
Webelievethatcommunicationaloneisn’tsufficient.Theseapplicationsneedscalabilityandrobustnessthatdoes
notdependonproblematicconnections.Wedesignedahighlyrobustwirelesssystem.
