Base Lens
Base lenses direct the light source towards the specimen.
Binocular Head-Rotating
A rotating binocular head is designed for maximum
flexibility in viewing options.
Binocular microscope heads allow for the easy
adjustment of the interpupillary distance (the distance
between the eyes), by moving the eyepieces toward
or away from each other...
The rotating feature allows for either forward or
reverse view, depending on whether you’d rather look
at the specimen or over it.
C-Mount
C-Mounts are adapters with a standard thread for mounting a
lens to a camera. C-Mounts fit onto a Trinocular port.
Condenser Lens
A condenser lens
concentrates light on a
specimen and increases the
resolution. An adjustable iris
controls the diameter of the
beam of light entering the
lens system. Abbe
Condenser lenses are
specially designed to mount
under the stage.
