Appendix C – Replacing I/O Boards

Important: Be sure to install the new board in the correct slot (see the “AutoPatch Optima

Connector Guide”). The board’s location must

match the system’s configuration information.

If a board is installed in the wrong slot, signal routing is affected.

Spacers not connected to boards fall free when slide-keys are removed

Remove the two center slide-keys.

6a: Remove the two screws indicated.

6b: Remove the board and place in an ESD approved static shield bag and set aside.

Double-connector board requires removal of 2 screws
