6. Restart the device to confirm that the new battery is functioning correctly.
7. Attach the residual voltage discharge adaptor (SAA5966-27-A) to the old battery and allow any
remaining charge to dissipate.
The adaptor may become warm to the touch for up to 24 hours. Please dispose of the
battery in a proper fashion as required by municipal or federal regulations.
