• EDIT AREA 
SCREEN SELECTION:  Row of screen selection buttons. 
NOTE: Axion can control up to 6 screens. A screen is a projection area and can handle 
several machines and video projector (notably in Softedge mode configuration). 
1 to 6: Screen selection. 
FREEZE SCREEN:  Freeze the selected screen configuration. 
SEQUENCE:   
1 to 5: 
SHIFT: 
SCREEN PRESET:  Row of screen preset buttons. 
NOTE:  A screen preset is a screen status at one time and is made of Elements. 
1 to 30: Screen preset selection. 
ACTUAL PRESET: Actual screen configuration. 
NEXT PRESET: Next screen configuration. 
SET 1, SET 2, SET 3: 3 Sets of screen preset allowing obtaining 90 screen presets. 
PRESET ELEMENT:  Row of preset element buttons. 
NOTE: Elements are: Backgrounds, Transition type, Logos, Effect duration, Titling, PIP 
(picture in picture). 
1 to 7:  Background element selection. 
8 to 13:  Title element selection. 
14 to 23:  PIP element selection. 
24 to 26:  Logo element selection. 
SET 1, SET 2:  2 Sets of screen preset allowing obtaining 52 screen presets. 
SOURCE / FRAME:  Row of source / frame selection buttons. 
NOTE:  Source selection for Elements creation. 
1 to 24:  Source / frame selection. 
FREEZE SOURCE:  Freeze the selected source. 
• TRANSITION (LIVE) AREA 
SCREEN (1 to 6): Screen selection button. 
SHIFT: 
FADE TO BLACK:  Black screen selection with fade transition. 
TAKE BACK:  Return to the last displayed PRESET. 
CUT: CUT transition. 
OPEN/CLOSE: 
TAKE:  Switching PRESET: allows switching the NEXT PRESET with the ACTUAL PRESET. 
T-BAR:  Manual switching PRESET: allows to manually switching the NEXT PRESET with the 
ACTUAL PRESET. 
NOTE:  Some transitions are not executable with the T-BAR, in this case, a cross is 
displayed on the blue screen beside the T-BAR.
