7. OPERATING THE EIKOS² FROM THE RCS²
7.1 
Before you start seng up your Eikos² for the rst me, take some me to think about how you will be using
it. The Eikos² oers a choice of three operang modes, which results in a versale video producon tool for
live event staging and xed installaon applicaons.
NOTE: We recommend reseng the device to its default values every me you set up your shows or events.
This mode allows for a single Eikos² to seamlessly switch any of its 10 analog/digital inputs with any other of
the inputs, add PIP, tling or logo inseron to the live frame, while previewing your every move before going
live, to avoid embarrassing errors on your main screen. The Video output of the Eikos² allows to have a copy
of the full Main screen at a video resoluon for recording or broadcasng.

Go to the setup secon to start to set up
your unit. A Setup assistant is available
to help you to correctly adjust all basic
setups of your unit.
