1-1. SUPPLIED EQUIPMENT
• 1 RKD8044-T Remote Console (RKD8044-T).
• 1 AC Power supply cord.
• 1 REMOTE cable (DB9 M/F) 3 m / 10 ft.
• 1 "UPDATE" cable (DB9 F/F) 1.8 m / 6 ft.
NOTE: Take care of this cable, it is essential for updating the RKD8044-T. (See Chapter 5 : UPDATING THE
RKD8044-T).

• Table top mounting: The RKD8044-T can be used directly on a table: the unit is equipped with 4 plastic feet.

• Be sure that no weight in excess of 2 kg (4.4 Lbs.) is added onto the RKD8044-T.

• The maximum ambient operating temperature must not exceed 40 °C (104 °F).

• The rack and all mounted equipment in it must be reliably grounded to national and
local electrical codes.
