INSTALLING THE SECURE POWER UNIT
Installaon steps are detailed hereaer for a rst installaon or a hot swap. Please make sure to carefully
follow instrucons.
First installaon:
Please take the usual safety measures against ESD.
All devices must be disconnected from the mains power.
When installing a new Secure Power Unit, the exisng power supply from the LiveCore™ device is moved to
the Secure Power Unit ; the second power supply is already installed in the Secure Power Unit.
Web RCS: Setup > Services > SPU
The rst step is to unplug the power supply unit from the
LiveCore™ device and to transfer it into the free slot of the
Secure Power Unit. This provide a second redundant power
supply.
The second step is to insert the head frame into the LiveCore™
device and connect the SpeakON™ connector to the Secure
Power Unit.
