Introduction The VTC180 Series Voltage Converter is a variable duty cycle switching power supply with a precision linear regulator output. It can be configured to run from a 32, 48 or 72 VDC power systems to provide output voltages as shown below. The VTC180 Series Voltage Converter features reverse input protection, current limiting, output over-voltage protection, ultra quiet low EMI operation and a wide operating temperature range.

Operation As soon as power is supplied to the input leads the outputs become energized. Troubleshooting If the current demanded by the devices connected to the unit exceed the maximum output current rating, the output voltage will drop to maintain the current at the maximum level. If the fuse blows whenever it is turned on, check that the power leads are connected to the battery with the correct polarity; if they are then the unit is damaged and must be returned for repair.
