Summary and removal of original blade on Type A, B, C, D, E or F applications:
Please Note:
1) Both Types A & B “Rock” out, but Type B looks almost exactly like Type D and Type E - which just pull out.
2) By design, many arms do not lift very far off the back-glass, this is to reduce the risk of catching in drive-through
car washes. On Type A and Type B, the arm must lift 30 - 45 degrees off the glass for removal. On some
vehicles, the trim cap, at the base of the arm where it attaches to the body, needs to be
removed, this allows the arm to lift up farther off the glass.
