Illustration of the appliance Before first time use Remove the protective rubber jams before using the scale. Place the 2 PCS AAA batteries (included) with the appliance. Replacing the batteries 1. Open the battery case cover on the back of the scales. 2. Take out the used batteries (with the aid of a sharp object if needed) 3. Install new batteries by putting one side of the battery into the slot and press down on the other side. Please take note of the polarity.
Operating the scales 1. Place the scales on a hard, flat surface. 2. When weighing ingredient in a bowl, place the bowl on the scales before turning the unit on. When using the tare function place the bowl on the scales after turning the unit on and press the Z/T button. 3. Press and release ON/OFF button to turn on the unit. 4. Wait until the display prompts to “0” before starting the weighing process.
Condition 2: Tare function To use the “Tare” function turn the unit on and place a plate or bowl on the unit and press the Z/T button so that the LCD indicates “0”. Place the first load of the to take a reading. Press the Z/T button and the LCD will return to “0”. Place the second load on the scales to take a reading. Press the Z/T and the LCD will reveal the total weight. Press the Z/T button a second time and the LCD will return to “0”. This operation can then be repeated.
