Place the scales on a hard and flat surface. If using a bowl, place the bowl on the scales before turning the unit on. If using the tare function place the bowl on the scales after turning on the unit and press the Z/T button.
Zero or Tare function Condition 1 Zero function To weigh different loads consecutively without removing loads from the scale, place the first load on the scale to take a reading. Press the Z/T button to reset the LCD to “0” then add the next load. This operation can then be repeated. After the third load is added the Z/T button must be pressed twice to reset the LCD to “0”. Max weight capacity is reduced by the total weight of all loads.
Manual Shut off To maximise battery life, always press ON/OFF to turn off the scale after use. Warning indicators Replace the current batteries If the scale shows overload. Remove the item to avoid damage. Max weight capacity is indicated on the scale. Cleaning Clean the scale with a slightly damp cloth. Do not immerse the scale in water or use chemical/ abrasive cleaning agents.
