Operating procedures & maintenance Unpacking your ice maker 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. Remove the exterior and interior packaging and check that the ice basket and ice scoop are inside. If any parts are missing, please contact our customer service. Remove any tape fixing the ice basket & ice scoop. Clean the tank & ice basket before use. Put the ice maker on a level and flat counter top away from direct sunlight and other sources of heat (i.e. stoves, furnaces and radiators).
Cleaning and maintenance Before using your ice maker it is strongly recommended to clean it thoroughly. 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. Take out the ice basket. Clean the interior with diluted detergent, warm water and a soft cloth. Then use the water to rinse the inside parts and drain out the water by unplugging the drain cap. The outside of the ice maker should be cleaned regularly with a mild detergent and warm water. Dry the interior and exterior with a clean, soft cloth.
