This is normal and will not affect the performance of the unit. A tilt switch is fitted inside the unit for safety purposes.
Assembly of the appliance 1. Place the bottom tube on the base of the appliance so that the holes of the tube align with the holes on the base of the appliance. Screw the bottom tube into the base of the appliance using the 3 m6*10 bolts provided. 2. Fit the decorating cover over the bottom tube of the appliance. 3. Inside the middle tube is the extender tube. Remove this from the middle tube by rotating it and pulling it out of the middle tube.

Fit the bottom of the table clamp to the bottom of the middle pole underneath the table at the height you wish the table to be and tighten using the screw on the clamp (you can adjust this once the appliance has been assembled). Place the table through the extender tube onto the middle tube so that it rests on the bottom table clamp. 6. Screw the middle pole with the table onto the bottom pole. 7.

Plug the appliances electrical cord into the power supply, switch the appliance on and select one of the three heat settings. Operating the appliance Connect the power cable to a 13 amp supply that is located in a safe, dry area. The switch on the heater head is used to control the three heat setting.
