Using the Hand Mixer for the first time Unpack the product and remove any packaging. Clean all parts of the appliance that come into contact with food before using the appliance. Never immerse the mixer in water or any other liquid. Wash the stainless steel beater dough hooks and whisk in warm soapy water. Always ensure that all parts are dried correctly before storing them.
Remove the attachments from the hand mixer Before removing the beaters, dough hooks or whisks, please ensure that the appliance is switched off and the plug is completely removed from the wall socket. Remove any excess mixture from the attachments using a rubber spatula. Push the speed switch to “Off”. Hold the attachment and press the speed switch down to release the attachment.
Maintenance and cleaning Always ensure that the product is switched off and unplugged from the socket before starting the cleaning process. Avoid using abrasive cleaners and scourers as they will damage / scratch the product. Never immerse the hand mixer’s body in water or any liquid for any reason. Do not wash the attachments without removing the stand from the unit first.
Plug The plug must be protected by the correct AMP fuse; this will be indicated on the case of the plug. Only BSI or ASTA approved fuses should be used. When changing the fuse always replace it with a fuse that is the same identical rating to the original. If you are unsure about which plug or fuse to use, always refer to a qualified electrician. Please note after replacing the fuse, ensure that the cover is correctly fitted back onto the plug.
