Safety Instructions When using any electrical appliance, basic safety precautions should always be followed including: This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Appliance specific safety instructions Do not put any utensils in the appliance when it is in use. Do not place your hands inside the appliance when it is in use. Always operate the appliance on a flat level surface that is dry and heat resistant. When opening and cleaning the lid, always use an oven mitt to avoid potential risks of burning. Always unplug the appliance when it is not in use, removing parts and before cleaning.
Before first time use 1. Remove all packaging and plastic bags from the appliance. 2. Clean all parts of the appliance before use as instructed in the section “Cleaning and Maintenance”. 3. Position the appliance on a flat dry and stable work surface. Note: Please wear oven gloves when opening and closing the door of the appliance. Using the product 1. Ensure that all parts of the appliance are connected properly.
Cleaning and maintenance Always allow a cooling period to occur after using the appliance and before cleaning the appliance. Remove the handle from the centre piece by screwing it in an anti-clockwise direction. Remove the centre piece from the brackets by lifting it up and pulling it towards yourself carefully. Clean the insides of the popcorn maker with a damp wet cloth and dry. DO NOT IMMERSE THE UNIT IN WATER OR LIQUID FOR ANY REASON.
