Safety instructions When using any electrical appliance, basic safety precautions should always be followed including: This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance.
Never handle or operate the appliance with wet hands. Appliance specific safety instructions It is not recommended to use the appliance outside. Do not leave the appliance unattended when it is plugged in. Always use the appliance on a stable and flat surface. Make sure the cord never comes into contact with hot parts of the appliance. Only use the thermostat supplied with the appliance.
Using the unit Please note! Pre-heat the grill for approximately 5 minutes before use. The cooking time depends on the type of food you are cooking, the degree you want it cooked (e.g. steak medium rare) and the quality of the ingredients. 1. Wipe the grill and griddle clean using a damp cloth. 2. Plug the thermostat connector into the body of the appliance, and then plug the power cord into the socket and switch the appliance on. 3.
Cleaning Always remove the plug from the mains socket before cleaning the unit. Always allow a cooling period to occur before cleaning the appliance. Do not use any wire brushes, sharp objects or abrasive cleaning utensils as this could damage the surface of the griddle and grill. Under no circumstances should the device be immersed in water or any other liquid. Grill & Griddle It is advised to remove any food residues while they are still warm with a damp cloth or paper towel.
