Battery information Please remove the isolation sheet from the battery contact before use. 1x3 lithium battery (CR2032) Replacing the batteries Open the battery case cover on the back of the scale. Take out the used battery with the aid of a pointed object, as illustrated. Install the new battery by putting one side of the battery beneath the battery baffle and then pressing down on the other side, please take note of the polarity.
Operating the appliance 1. To ensure an accurate reading, place the scale on a hard, flat floor. Avoid carpet or soft surfaces. 2. Gently step on the scale, the scale will automatically turn on. Stand evenly on the scale without moving and wait until your weight has stopped blinking on the scale. Automatic switch off When you step off the scale, it will automatically switch off. Auto shut-off occurs if the display shows the same weight reading for approximately 8 seconds.
To convert the weight unit displayed The weight can be displayed in either metric (Kg) or imperial (pounds, stone). 1. Find the unit switch on the back of the scale. 2. Press the unit conversion button when the scale power is on, LCS will show the current weight unit. Press the button again to covert the weight unit. Overload indication Scale overload. (Max capacity is indicated on the scale). Please step off to avoid damaging the scale. Low battery indication Battery power is low.
Unit advice and care The glass platform will be slippery when it is wet. Keep it dry. Keep still whilst weighing yourself. Do not drop or damage the scale as it may affect the accuracy of the appliance. Always treat the scale with care. Clean the scale with a damp cloth and avoid water from getting inside of the scale. Do not use chemical/ abrasive cleaning agents. Store the scale in a dry clean area. Always keep your scale in a flat position.
