General safety instructions When using any electrical appliance, basic safety precautions should always be followed including: This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance.
Never handle or operate the appliance with wet hands. Appliance specific instructions The surface of the appliance will become hot during use, please demonstrate care when removing food from the steamer. Warning: Steam that is released from the appliance can scald the user. Do not touch the hull of the appliance before it cools down. Always refill the reservoir of the appliance with the necessary amount of water.

Place the water entry tray onto the water reservoir. 3. Always place the lower container on top of the water entry tray first. 4. If you wish to use more than the lower container, place the remaining containers on top in size order. 5. Place the lid on top of the last used container.
Operating the appliance Connect the cord of the appliance to the electrical socket. Fill the steamer using the water entry tray in between “Min and Max” mark located in the reservoir of the appliance. The LCD display will now show “00:00”. 4. After choosing the programme type, press the “Start/Off” button to begin steaming. The clock on the LCD display will now begin to count down. The start of the steaming process will be signalled by 4 beeps. 5. If you choose to manually set the time for the food by selecting the clock function the time will be displayed, increase the time accordingly and press the “Start/Off” button. 6. A beep will signal the end of the cooking process.

In accordance with the WEEE directive, every member state must ensure correct collection, recovery, handling and recycling of electrical and electronic waste.
Plug The plug must be protected by the correct AMP fuse; this will be indicated on the case of the plug. Only BSI or ASTA approved fuses should be used. When changing the fuse always replace it with a fuse that is of the same identical rating as the original. If you are unsure about which plug or fuse to use, always refer to a qualified electrician. Please note after replacing the fuse, ensure that the cover is correctly fitted back onto the plug.
