STEP 1 - CHARGING THE PARENT UNIT (10 HOURS) 1 WARNING Never use regular alkaline batteries in the Parent Unit; they may explode. 2 1) Slide the button to unlock and open the battery cover. Insert the Rechargeable Batteries (included) as per picture. 3 10 2) Connect the AC Adapter to the Parent Unit and into an electrical outlet. 3) Charge the unit for 10 continuous hours (prior to first use). NOTE: To optimize your battery performance please refer to Battery Guidelines in the Trouble Shooting.

2.2 SELECT THE CRIB LEG YOU WILL BE USING TO SECURE THE CORD COVERS RECOMMENDED 1) Use the crib leg by the wall closest to the Nursery Unit (Fig. 1). In cases where the Nursery Unit is across the room, use the leg closest to the Nursery Unit to position the covered wire (Fig. 2). 6 E N 3” 6) Place the 6th cord cover approximately 3’’ (8 cm) from the edge of the mattress support. 6 7) Snap together the remaining cord covers that will run along the floor. 7 8) Remove any cord slack to make sure no parts of the cord are loose. STEP 3 - SETTING UP THE NURSERY UNIT 1 1) Unscrew the battery cover and insert 2 AA Alkaline Batteries (not included). 2) Place the Nursery Unit at a minimum of 3 ft. (0.9 m) away from the crib. 3) Connect the AC Adapter to the Nursery Unit and plug into an electrical outlet. NOTE: 2 The batteries maintain power supply in case of power outage. 3 IMPORTANT Keep at least 3 ft. (0.
STEP 4 - TURNING ON YOUR MONITOR 2 1 1) Press the Parent Unit ON/OFF button to open and display normal mode. E N 2) Push and hold the Nursery Unit left ‘wing’ button for 2 seconds. The LCD monitor has 30 seconds timeout to go to power saving mode (dimmer illumination). Press any keys to wake up. When the Parent Unit is turned ON and the Nursery Unit is OFF, the Parent Unit will be searching for connection with the Nursery Unit. The Connection icon will scan as the following cycle.
STEP 5 - TESTING AND GETTING TO KNOW YOUR MONITOR The Angelcare® monitor can be used with the pre-program factory settings or you can also customise your settings to your preference. NOTE: All changes and adjustments made in the Settings mode will not be activated unless you confirm them by pressing the Return icon. A long beep will confirm your modification. IMPORTANT When in Settings mode, sound transmission between Parent and Nursery Units will be temporarily deactivated.
TO STOP THE ALARM OR OR Press Nursery Unit’s Hold button (see Step 6.5) Press any key on the Parent Unit to put on Hold (see Step 6.5) E N Hold down left ‘wing’ button for two seconds to turn OFF the Unit Place your hand back on the mattress. TO ADJUST THE SENSOR PAD SENSITIVITY LEVEL: 1 4 1) Press the Settings icon to access setting mode. 2) Press Movement Sensitivity icon. The icon will blink.
5.2 - SOUND Level 0 TO ADJUST THE SOUND: Level 1 Raise volume level (+) Press (+) or (-) buttons to adjust the volume level. Lower volume level (-) NOTE: At level L0 the level bar will still appear on the screen and the icon will blink. If you press the blinking Sound icon again, it automatically activates the Mute function. The Bar will disappear and a cross will appear in the icon screen. To DEACTIVATE, press the Sound icon again. (Refer to Step 6.6 for more information on Mute mode).

ÉTAPE 6 - TO ACTIVATE AND DEACTIVATE ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS MULTIFUNCTIONAL The Angelcare® monitor is multifunctional. It can be use in different combinations according to your needs. SOUND & MOVEMENT: Allows you to detect the baby’s MOVEMENT & SOUND while using both Parent Unit and Sensor Pad. 1 2 Slide the Nursery Unit Connecting switch to 1 to detect sound and movement. MOVEMENT ONLY: Allows you to detect the baby’s MOVEMENT ONLY without the Parent Unit.
6.1 - VOICE ACTIVATION (VOX) OR CONTINUOUS SOUND MODE E N Allows you to select your option on how you monitor sound: VOX (voice activation picks up sound based on the selected sensitivity level settings) or Continuous (sound monitoring is continuously on, picking up all sounds). 1) Press the VOX icon to activate or deactivate the VOX function. 1 VOX ON (VOX) VOX OFF (Continuous) NOTE: By deactivating VOX, the Continuous sound setting is ON.
6.3 - TEMPERATURE CONTROL TO CHANGE THE MEASUREMENT UNIT: 1 1) Press the Settings icon to access setting mode. 4 2 2) Press the Temperature Settings Icon. 3) Press the Talk button on Parent Unit to change from Celsius to Fahrenheit. Celsius Fahrenheit 4) Press the Return icon to confirm your choice and return to normal screen. 3 1) Press the Temperature Alarm icon to activate or deactivate the high and low temperature alarm.
6.4 - ALARM Allows you to select your preferred alarm mode for the Parent Unit. 1 E N 1) Press the Setting icon to access setting mode. 3 2) Press the Alarm icon , current alarm mode icon will blink. Then press again to select the alarm mode as the display changes for various modes. 2 3) Press the Return icon to confirm your choice and return to normal screen. When the Parent Unit is on the charger, the sound alarm will replace the vibration mode.
6.6 - MUTE Allows you to activate the MUTE function. TO ACTIVATE MUTE: Press the Sound Icon. ON OFF TO DEACTIVATE MUTE: Press the Sound Icon to deactivate. NOTE: The MUTE icon will blink on the Parent Unit. 6.7 - NIGHT LIGHT OR Allows you to use your monitor as a night light. TO ACTIVATE THE LIGHT: Push the right ‘wing’ of the Nursery Unit or press the Night Light icon on the Parent Unit to select light level. NOTE: The Night Light function will be disabled if the Nursery Unit is in battery mode.
TROUBLESHOOTING E N TAKING CARE OF YOUR RECHARGEABLE BATTERIES • Ensure that you fully charge your batteries for 10 hours before their first use. • To maintain maximum battery life it is recommended that you fully discharge your batteries periodically. Battery performance can be diminished by leaving the batteries constantly charging on the charging cradle. If your parent unit is not in use, please turn it OFF. • Inadequate battery power can impair the performance of your monitor.
FALSE ALARMS • Turn OFF the Nursery Unit. • Verify the connection between Sensor Pad and Nursery Unit. Unplug and reconnect the cord. • Make sure there is no bedding between mattress and Sensor Pad. • If the crib has a spring or slat base, place a hardboard between the crib base and the Sensor Pad measuring at least 13” x 13” (33x33 cm) and 1/4” (6 mm) thick. • Make sure Sensor Pad is positioned as described under the setup requirements. Sensor Pad Sensitivity level may need to be adjusted, refer to Step 5.
FEEDBACK (LOUD NOISES EMITTED FROM THE PARENT UNIT) • Move the units farther apart (at least 10 feet (3 meters) apart). • Decrease volume on the Parent Unit. E N THE PARENT UNIT SCREEN IS BLACK (PARENT UNIT IS OFF) • Turn the Parent Unit back ON by pushing and holding the Power button. • Replace the batteries or recharge the Parent Unit.

PASO 4 - ENCENDIDO DEL MONITOR 2 1 1) Pulse el botón de encendido/apagado ON/OFF de la unidad para los padres para activar y mostrar el modo normal. 2) Pulse el botón del “ala” izquierda de la unidad del bebé y manténgalo presionado durante 2 segundos. El monitor LCD tiene 30 segundos de tiempo de espera para pasar al modo de ahorro de energía (iluminación más tenue). Pulse cualquier tecla para reactivarlo.
PASO 5 - PRUEBA Y CONOCIMIENTO DEL MONITOR El monitor Angelcare® se puede utilizar con las configuraciones preprogramadas de fábrica o puede personalizar las configuraciones según su preferencia. NOTA: Ninguno de los cambios y ajustes que se efectúen en el modo de Configuración se activará a menos que los confirme pulsando el ícono Return (regresar). Se emitirá un pitido largo que confirmará su modificación.
SUSPENSIÓN DE LA ALARMA O O Pulse el botón de Pausa de la unidad del bebé (vea el Paso 6.5). Pulse cualquier botón de la unidad para los padres para Pausar la unidad (vea el Paso 6.5). NOTA: Al nivel L0 la barra de nivel aún aparecerá en la pantalla y el ícono parpadeará. Si pulsa nuevamente el ícono parpadeante de sonido, automáticamente se activará la función silencio. La barra desaparecerá, y aparecerá una cruz en la pantalla de íconos. Para DESACTIVARLA, pulsa nuevamente el ícono de sonido.
AHORA PUEDE UTILIZAR SU MONITOR El monitor Angelcare® se puede utilizar con las configuraciones preprogramadas de fábrica o puede personalizar las configuraciones según su preferencia.
PASO 6 - ACTIVACIÓN Y DESACTIVACIÓN DE FUNCIONES ADICIONALES MULTIFUNCIONAL El monitor Angelcare® es multifuncional. Puede usarse en diferentes combinaciones según sus necesidades. SONIDOS Y MOVIMIENTOS: Le permite detectar LOS MOVIMIENTOS Y LOS SONIDOS del bebé al combinar la unidad para los padres y el detector de movimientos. 1 2 E S Mueva el interruptor de conexión de la unidad del bebé a la posición 1 para detectar sonidos y movimientos.
6.1 - ACTIVACIÓN DE VOZ (VOX) O MODO DE SONIDO CONTINUO Le permite seleccionar la forma de monitorear el sonido: VOX (la activación de voz capta el sonido según el nivel de sensibilidad programado) o continuo (el monitoreo de sonido permanece activado, captando todos los sonidos). 1) Pulse el ícono de VOX para activar o desactivar a función VOX.
6.3 - CONTROL DE TEMPERATURA PARA CAMBIAR LA UNIDAD DE MEDIDA: 1 1) Pulse el ícono de configuración para acceder al modo de configuración. 4 2 2) Pulse el ícono de configuración de temperatura. E S 3) Pulse el botón para hablar en la unidad para los padres para cambiar de grados Celsius a Fahrenheit. Celsius Fahrenheit 4) Pulse el ícono Return (regresar) para confirmar su selección y volver a la pantalla normal.
6.4 - ALARMA Le permite seleccionar su modo de alarma preferido para la unidad de los padres. 1 1) Pulse el ícono de configuración para acceder al modo de configuración. 3 2) Pulse el ícono de alarma; parpadeará el ícono del modo de alarma que esté programado en ese momento. Después, vuelva a pulsarlo para seleccionar el modo de alarma cuando la pantalla cambie a varios modos. 2 3) Pulse el ícono Return (regresar) para confirmar su selección y volver a la pantalla normal.
6.6 - SILENCIO Le permite activar la función SILENCIO. PARA ACTIVAR LA FUNCIÓN SILENCIO: Presione el ícono de sonido. ACTIVADO (ON) PARA DESACTIVAR LA FUNCIÓN SILENCIO: Pulse el ícono de sonido para desactivar la función. DESACTIVADO (OFF) NOTA: En la unidad para los padres, parpadeará el ícono de SILENCIO. RESOLUCIÓN DE PROBLEMAS CUIDADO DE LAS BATERÍAS RECARGABLES • Asegúrese de cargar completamente las baterías durante 10 horas antes de usar la unidad por primera vez. • Para mantener la máxima duración de la batería es conveniente descargarla completamente en forma periódica. Si se deja la batería constantemente cargándose en el cargador, se puede reducir su rendimiento. Si la unidad para los padres no está en uso, apáguela. • Una potencia inadecuada de la batería puede perjudicar el desempeño del monitor.
FALSAS ALARMAS • Apague la unidad del bebé. • Verifique la conexión entre el detector de movimientos y la unidad del bebé. Desenchufe y vuelva a conectar el cable. • Asegúrese de que no haya ropa de cama entre el colchón y el detector de movimientos. • Si la cuna tiene una base de resorte o listones, coloque una tabla de fibra de alta densidad entre la base de la cuna y el detector de movimientos que mida al menos 33 x 33 cm (13”x 13”) y 6 mm (1/4“) de espesor.
