9.1 Cleaning the Filter
Important Note – The Filter must be cleaned regularly for the best suction
performance and to prevent over-heating and damage to your vacuum
cleaner.
Cleaning is best done at the same time when emptying the dust Canister
after you have finish vacuuming for the day.
NOTE: Never use the vacuum cleaner with a wet or damp filter or without the
filter fitted.
Using a wet or damp filter will damage the filter, may cause serious damage
to the vacuum cleaner and will void your warranty.
Note: Only clean the filter if it is very dirty, otherwise just tap the edge of the
filter on a hard surface to dislodge any dust and remove any large debris.
To access the filter, first remove the dust canister from the vacuum cleaner
body as described in the section “Emptying the Dust Canister”.
Whilst holding the dust canister body, grasp the lid and rotate anticlockwise
to unscrew then lift the lid away.
Grasp the rubber edge of the filter and peel up to remove the filter.
