SERIES 7 3.1 | MIXER CONTROLS & CONNECTIONS 3.1.1 | MONO INPUTS 8 AUX - 12FX only This knob adjusts the signal sent to AUX SEND. Use it to connect the mixer to an additional effects unit or to stage monitors. 1 MIC INPUT XLR-F balanced microphone input. 1 2 LINE INPUT 6.35 mm. (1/4”) balanced line input. SERIES 14 15 16 17 14 PEAK This LED is lit when the input signal is very loud and is close to distortion. When the LED is continuously lit, please lower the input gain or adjust channel EQ, so reducing the boost introduced by HI, MID, and LOW gains. 3 4 4 LOW CUT - 8FX (in 1-4) and 12FX (in 1-6) This switch activates the hi-pass filter to reduce the frequencies from 75Hz down. Use it to avoid that microphones connected to the input channels will pick up unwanted signals rich of low frequencies.
SERIES 9 10 11 9 BAL The BAL knob sets the left-right balance for stereo channels. If only one signal is connected to the L/MONO socket, this knob acts like a pan. 3.1.3 | STEREO INPUT 10 MUTE & LED - 12FX only Press this button to mute the selected channel source. The lit LED indicates the MUTE activation. 2 LINE INPUT Two 6.35 mm. (1/4”) balanced line input. You can also use an unbalanced cable. 1 LINE INPUT Unbalanced line input with RCA L/R sockets.
SERIES 4 5 6 4 AUX - 12FX only This knob adjusts the signal sent to AUX SEND. Use it to connect the mixer to an additional effects unit or to stage monitors. 5 PRE/POST - 12FX only This selector determines whether the AUX send level is independent (PRE) or is influenced (POST) by the channel level control. Generally it's used PRE to send the signal to stage monitors or IEM, POST to send the signal to an external effect unit.
SERIES 3.1.4 | 6FX - POWER SUPPLY AND MASTER SECTION 3 2-TRACK IN Unbalanced line input with RCA L/R sockets. Connect to this socket the output of a hi-fi equipment (CD) or other device with RCA outputs. 1 4 2-TRACK OUT Unbalanced line output with RCA L/R sockets. Connect these outputs to a hi-fi device, e. g. a recorder; the output level is set by MAIN MIX control. 2 1 POWER ON/OFF Press this switch, located on mixer rear panel, to turn ON or OFF the unit.

SERIES 3.1.5 | 8FX - POWER SUPPLY AND MASTER SECTION 3 2-TRACK IN Unbalanced line input with RCA L/R sockets. Connect to this socket the output of a hi-fi equipment (CD) or other device with RCA outputs. 1 4 2-TRACK OUT Unbalanced line output with RCA L/R sockets. Connect these outputs to a hi-fi device, e. g. a recorder; the output level is set by MAIN MIX control. 1 POWER ON/OFF Press this switch, located on mixer rear panel, to turn ON or OFF the unit.
SERIES 12 13 14 12 PROGRAM This 100 position selector allows you to choose the type of effect. Turn the knob until you reach the desired program, then press the knob to activate the selected effect.
SERIES 3.1.6 | 12FX - POWER SUPPLY AND MASTER SECTION 20 POWER ON This LED is lit green when the mixer is ON. 21 OUTPUT LEVEL MAIN MIX output level LED indicators. 3 20 4 1 2 21 22 PHONES/CTRL ROOM Adjust this fader to set the level for PHONES and CONTROL ROOM outputs. 1 MAINS INPUT Plug into this socket the mains cord supplied with the unit. Make sure the unit is turned OFF before connecting the cable to the mains. For your safety, never disconnect the earth lead. 2 FUSE Protection fuse.
SERIES 2 5 CONTROL ROOM CONTROL ROOM output with two 6.35 mm. (1/4”) line sockets. This output allows you to connect a second set of powered speakers with independent level control from the master, thus creating two separate listening zones with different volumes. In recording studio applications the typical use is for studio monitors. This output volume is adjusted by the knob PHONES - CTRL / ROOM, regardless of the amount of the MAIN MIX OUT outputs.
SERIES 13 14 13 PROGRAM This 100 position selector allows you to choose the type of effect. Turn the knob until you reach the desired program, then press the knob to activate the selected effect.
SERIES 21 21 DFX This knob sets the overall signal for DFX send. 22 22 CTRL/ROOM - PHONES Adjust this knob to set the level for PHONES and CONTROL ROOM outputs. 23 23 GROUP 1-2 - MAIN MIX Use this switch to select which signal between GROUP 1-2 (switch depressed) or MAIN MIX (switch raised) is sent to CONTROL ROOM output. 29 30 29 2-TK IN This knob sets the level of 2-TRACK IN input signal.
SERIES 4 | TROUBLESHOOTING PROBLEM SOLUTION Power LED turned off. Make sure the device is properly connected to the mains outlet. Power LED turned on, but MAIN MIX low. Raise MAIN MIX level. Power LED turned on, MASTER VOL raised, but MUTE button depressed. Raise MUTE button. Power LED turned on, MASTER VOL raised, but input channel LEVEL low. Check connections between sources and mixer. Raise channel LEVEL. Power LED turned on, MASTER VOL raised, LEVEL raised, but +48V off.

SERIES 7 3.1 | CONNESSIONI & CONTROLLI DEI MIXER 3.1.1 | INGRESSI MONO 2 3 4 5 6 2 LINE INPUT Ingresso di linea bilanciato con presa jack da 6.35 mm. È possibile usare anche un cavo non bilanciato. 3 INSERT - solo modelli 8FX (in 1-2) e 12FX (in 1-4) Presa jack stereo da 6,35mm. Questa presa consente di collegare dispositivi esterni, per esempio un compressore o un EQ, in grado di elaborare la dinamica del segnale.
SERIES 15 16 17 14 PEAK Questo led si illumina quando il segnale in ingresso è molto forte ed è prossimo alla distorsione. Se l’indicatore si accende con continuità, è necessario ridurre il guadagno di ingresso o regolare diversamente l’EQ del canale riducendo l’esaltazione introdotta dai guadagni dei toni HI-MID-LOW. 3 4 4 LOW CUT - 8FX (in 1-4) e 12FX (in 1-6) Questo interruttore attiva il filtro passa-alto per ridurre le frequenze dai 75Hz in giù.
SERIES 9 10 11 9 BAL La manopola BAL stabilisce il bilanciamento del segnale sinistra-destra per i canali stereo. Se un solo segnale è collegato all'ingresso L/MONO, diventa equivalente al comando PAN. 10 MUTE & LED - SOLO 12FX Premete questo tasto per silenziare la sorgente del canale selezionato. Il led acceso indica l’attivazione del comando. 11 PFL & LED - SOLO 12FX Premete questo tasto per verificare il livello di segnale del canale prima del fader.
SERIES 4 5 6 4 AUX - SOLO 12FX Questa mandata ausiliaria regola il segnale inviato all’uscita AUX SEND. Utilizzatela per collegare al mixer un’ulteriore unità effetti o una spia. 5 PRE/POST - SOLO 12FX Questo selettore stabilisce se il livello della mandata AUX è indipendente dal controllo di livello (PRE) o ne è influenzato (POST). Generalmente si usa PRE per inviare il segnale ad una spia o ad un IEM, POST per un'unità effetti esterna.
SERIES 3.1.4 | 6FX – SEZIONE ALIMENTAZIONE & MASTER 3 2-TRACK IN Ingresso linea sbilanciato con prese RCA L/R. Collegate a queste prese l'uscita di un dispositivo hi-fi (CD) o altro apparecchio con uscite RCA L/R. 4 2-TRACK OUT Uscita linea sbilanciata con prese RCA L/R. Collegate a queste prese un dispositivo hi-fi, per esempio un registratore; il livello del segnale in uscita è influenzato dal controllo di volume MAIN MIX.
SERIES 16 11 17 18 15 MUTE Questo tasto vi consente di attivare o disattivare il segnale di ritorno dell’unità effetti interna. 16 POWER ON Questo LED si illumina di verde quando il mixer è acceso. 12 13 mandate effetto si ha quando il led lampeggia solo occasionalmente sui picchi di segnale, mentre il led che resta continuamente acceso è indice di saturazione. In tal caso intervenite diminuendo il volume delle mandate DFX POST dei canali.
SERIES 3.1.5 | 8FX – SEZIONE ALIMENTAZIONE & MASTER 3 2-TRACK IN Ingresso linea sbilanciato con prese RCA L/R. Collegate a queste prese l'uscita di un apparecchio hi-fi (CD) o altro dispositivo con uscite RCA L/R. 1 4 2-TRACK OUT Uscita linea sbilanciata con prese RCA L/R. Collegate a queste prese un dispositivo hi-fi, per esempio un registratore; il livello del segnale in uscita è influenzato dal controllo di volume MAIN MIX.
SERIES 12 13 14 12 PROGRAM (PUSH) Questo encoder permette di selezionare uno dei 100 effetti disponibili nella memoria del DSP interno. Ruotate la manopola fino al raggiungimento del programma desiderato e premetela per attivare l’effetto selezionato. Per un riferimento rapido l'elenco degli effetti è riportato immediatamente sopra.
SERIES 3.1.6 | 12FX – SEZIONE ALIMENTAZIONE & MASTER 20 POWER ON Questo LED si illumina di verde quando il mixer è acceso. 21 OUTPUT LEVEL Indicatori a led del livello delle uscite L/R MAIN MIX OUT. 20 3 4 1 2 21 22 PHONES / CTRL Regolate questo fader per stabilire il livello dell’uscita cuffia (PHONES) e CONTROL ROOM.

SERIES 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 21 DFX Questa manopola stabilisce il segnale complessivo per la mandata DFX. 22 CTRL ROOM/PHONES Regolate questa manopola per stabilire il livello dell’uscita cuffia (PHONES) e CONTROL ROOM. 29 30 23 GROUP 1-2 - MAIN MIX Usate questo interruttore per stabilire quale segnale inviare all’uscita CONTROL ROOM fra GROUP 1-2 (interruttore abbassato) o MAIN MIX (interruttore sollevato).
