Zen Tour Synergy Core User Manual 65
Eurorack owners are fond of integrating their modular systems with Ableton Live. The free
CV Tools extension makes it possible to send and receive CV commands as if they were
regular audio streams inside the DAW, which is a
particularly straightforward workflow.
How to get started
1. Bring the audio output from your Eurorack modular down to line-level using a dedicated
output module.
2. Connect your modules to the Zen Tour Synergy Core.
3. Enter the Control Panel ‘Routing’ tab. Route the I/O channels you occupied into the
COMP REC row.
4. Launch Ableton Live and set up your project accordingly.
Safety precautions
1. Make sure to prevent excessive output volume.
2. Never send CV to your speakers.
3. Bring any Trigger and Gate modules’ output down to line-level (about 1v max) before
connecting them to Zen Tour Synergy Core.
