ASIO Settings
For Windows users - click to launch the
Discrete 8 Synergy Core USB ASIO
Control Panel. The 'Buffer Settings' tab
lets you choose your preferred ASIO
Buffer Size for an optimal balance
between latency and performance.
PREAMPS Strip
Labeled 'PREAMPS' on the far left. Contains controls for the eight mic/combo inputs
labeled A1 – A8 on the Discrete 8 Pro Synergy Core. There are the following controls for
each input:
Gain Knob
Click and drag the knob or double-click the text label in the center and use your
keyboard to adjust input gain. The gain ranges are as follows:

Mic: -12dB - 65dB
●
Line: -6dB - 20dB
●
Hi-Z (inputs A1 and A2): 0dB - 40dB
48V Button (in mic mode)
Click to activate or deactivate 48V phantom power for condenser microphones.
