INTRODUCTION
The CINE VCLX series of batteries are designed and manufactured to the high quality expected from all Anton/Bauer batteries. Because of the
specialized and proprietary circuitry that is used in these batteries, the cells inside of any CINE battery must be replaced with an NM14/19 or
NM28/38 module.
The NM14/19 and NM28/38 modules eliminate the need for “re-celling”, long waiting periods and unnecessary shipping of the CINE
®
batteries.
The old battery module is simply removed with a few screws, the connectors are unplugged, and the new module is inserted. Then, the old
module can simply be recycled.
The NM14/19 module is the cell replacement module for the CINE VCLX/2 batteries. Please follow the instructions in this manual to ensure
safe and reliable installation. (Note: the NM14/19 module is not for use with the CINE VCLX, and CINE VCLX-CA batteries.)
The NM28/38 module is the cell replacement module for the CINE VCLX and CINE VLCX-CA batteries. As mentioned above, please follow the
instructions in this manual to ensure safe and reliable installation. (Note: The NM28/38 module cannot be used with the CINE VCLX/2 batter-
ies.)

STEP 1
Remove the (2) #10 screws and (2) # 10 washers as shown in gure A.
Note: Do not remove handle or handle hardware from side plates.
STEP 2
Remove the (4) 6-32 screws and (4) 6-32 washers as shown in gure B.
