DESCRIPTION
Anvil #1214 Elastomeric,Textured Knife /
Trowel Grade Caulk & Sealant is a heavy
bodied, flexible, elastomeric caulk and sealant for
filling and patching cracks and voids on vertical
masonry, stucco, and concrete block. Anvil
#1214 Elastomeric, Textured, Knife/Trowel
Grade Caulk & Sealant provides excellent
adhesion, long life, and is resistant to failure by
expansion, contraction, or other joint movement.
Fast drying and may be painted with latex or oil
base paints. For use on interior or exterior
surfaces.
SURFACE PREPARATION
Surface must be free of dirt, oil, grease,
efflorescence, chalk, mildew, and loose material
Any residual chalk left after pressure washing
should be sealed with Anvil #230 or #231 Chalky
surface conditioner. Joint dimensions not to
exceed 1/4” x 1/2” deep. Use polyethylene
backing rod for depths exceeding 1/2”, especially
after routing out masonry joints to remove
weakened material.
APPLICATION
Use broad knife or trowel.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
This product is manufactured to rigid control
specifications. It is impossible to control the use
and application. Therefore, the manufacturers
sole liability is limited to replacing quantities of
product proven to be defective. The manufacturer
disclaims any liability for the cost of labor to
repaint or any other use of the product.
