11.3.1. View the Firmware Version
On the Support page, you can view the current applied rmware version.

Compability aer rmware upgrade
Current conguraon is sll compable aer upgrading the rmware.
Compability aer rmware downgrade
IMPORTANT
Compability aer a rmware downgrade can not be guaranteed.
The current conguraon may use features not available in the older rmware version.
11.3.3. Firmware File Validaon
Before the rmware le is imported into the system, the rmware upgrade funcon perform a validaon of the
le, to ensure that:
• the rmware is compable with the Communicator hardware
• the rmware is suited for the product
• the ocially HMS soware signatures are valid
• that the rmware le is not corrupt or damaged
If the rmware le does not pass the validaon, the rmware le is rejected and an error message appear.
