8. PLC Conguraon
8.1. Export I/O Data Map
When conguring the communicaon between the PLC and the nodes on the subnetwork, use the I/O data map
as a specicaon to ensure that the transacons match.

On the I/O data map page you can export the I/O data map in an Excel XLS le, where all the nodes and
transacons are listed.
To export the I/O data map:
1. Click Export.
An Excel XLS le with the mapping is downloaded to your PC.
8.2. Export Product EDS File
Opon if the PLC program requires a product le, EDS (Electronic Data Sheet) le, describing how the
Communicator can be used on the high level network.

rmware page and on the Support page.
To export the EDS le:
1. Click EDS le.
The EDS le is downloaded to your PC.
