BEFORE INSTALLATION Before Installation _______________________________________________________________________________ Features of anysee anysee is a digital terrestrial USB TV Box with High speed USB 2.0 Interface. It provides High Definition TV broadcast 40 times faster than the existing USB 1.1 product. It allows stable images on the screen even when it is recording.
BEFORE INSTALLATION System Requirements anysee can be run in the following environment. anysee for System Requirement Laptop or Desktop PC supported with USB 2.0 OS : Windows XP Service pack 2 Memory : 256M or more Microsoft Direct X 9.0 or above CPU & VGA Card In case with a VGA card supported to DxVA Intel Pentium IV 1.0GHz or better Centrino 1.
BEFORE INSTALLATION to a power-saving mode when not in use or turned off at the time defined by system component setting. If the Power Control Mode has been activated, intermittent screen stops may appear in anysee products depending on the specifications of the PC. SOFTWARE INSTALLATION Installation Please, always use the newest version of software (Recommended). The software can be downloaded from anysee website (http://www.anysee.com) ________________________________________________________________________________ Installation of anysee Software Installation on Windows XP Logon using ID: Administrator or other ID that carries the same authority as the administrator. To know more about User permission, please check your windows XP manual or guide.
SOFTWARE INSTALLATION Click Install to start the software installation. Click Next when the installation window appears.
SOFTWARE INSTALLATION If you agree with the License agreement, select I accept the terms of the license agreement.
SOFTWARE INSTALLATION Click Install when the installation of anysee viewer window appears. In case of Windows XP Service Pack 1, Direct. X 9.0 will be installed automatically. In case of Windows XP Service Pack 2, Direct. X 9.0 does not need to be installed.
SOFTWARE INSTALLATION In case your Windows doesn’t have Service Pack 2: Direct X 9.0 will be installed automatically. When the reboot message appears, click YES to reboot your windows and finish the installation. ( We recommend to reboot windows ) In case your Windows has Service Pack 2: Click Finish when the installation viewer wizard complete window appears.
SOFTWARE INSTALLATION Click Manual to view the electronic copy of the user manual. Click Exit to close the installation main screen when the installation is complete. . Windows XP Patch installation The computer without Windows XP service pack 1 will not be installed the patch file for USB. Therefore, please install the Windows XP service pack 1 first then, install only patch file for USB.
SOFTWARE INSTALLATION Installation of anysee Driver Windows XP Driver Installation Please insert CD, plug USB 2.0 cable into your PC. If you plug USB 2.0 cable into your Desktop or Laptop PC , The Found New Hardware Wizard will appear.
SOFTWARE INSTALLATION When the New Hardware Found Wizard window appears, select Install the software automatically (Recommended) and click Next. Click Continue Anyway when the Hardware Installation dialogue box appears.
SOFTWARE INSTALLATION The window shown below will appear. Click Finish to complete the driver installation.
SOFTWARE INSTALLATION Re-installing the Drivers (Driver Update) This section explains about reinstallation of anysee drivers. The latest drivers and software updates can be found at http://www.anysee.com. For installation, download the driver from anysee homepage (http://www.anysee.com). Right-click on My Computer icon and select Properties. Select Device Manager in Hardware tab. Select Sound, Video and Game Controller from Device Manager.
SOFTWARE INSTALLATION Select anysee USB type Tuner (2005.04.25.0010313), right-click the mouse and and select Driver Update (P). Hardware Update Wizard window will appear.
SOFTWARE INSTALLATION Select No, I don’t want to connect now and click Next button. (For Windows XP service Pack 2 only) Select List or Installation at Specific Location (Advanced)(S) and click Next button.
SOFTWARE INSTALLATION When a window showing Select a Search and Installation Option appears, select Search including following location(O) from Search the most appropriate driver at this location(S). Select Find(R) and find the folder to which the latest anysee driver was download into from homepage and click OK.
SOFTWARE INSTALLATION Click Continue button and start installation. The installation of the driver progresses.
SOFTWARE INSTALLATION Select Find(B) and find the folder to which the latest anysee driver was download into from homepage and click OK. Click Finish button to finish installation.

SOFTWARE INSTALLATION Check if anysee USB type Tuner (2005.04.25.0010313) was uninstalled. Select Search for change of hardware(A) at Action tab. Move to “Windows XP Driver Installation” chapter and continue next installation.
SOFTWARE INSTALLATION Installation of another USB 2.0 port When a USB 2.0 port has been connected to another port, A new hardware was detected message appears at the bottom right in Windows operation display line. If no such message appears, disconnect the USB 2.0 cable and reconnect it shortly afterward. Move to “Windows XP Driver Installation” chapter and continue next installation. * A driver can be reinstalled either by driver update, uninstallation or use of another USB 2.0 port.
SOFTWARE INSTALLATION Checking the anysee Driver Installation Right-click on My Computer icon and select Properties. When System Registration Information Window appears, select Device Manager in Hardware tab. * Click : [Properties] −> [Hardware] tab −> [Hardware Manager] −> Sound, video and game controllers If driver is not installed, please install it again. First, disconnect the USB 2.0 cable of anysee product and reconnect it again.
SOFTWARE INSTALLATION Checking the USB 2.0 Driver Installation Right-click the My Computer icon and select Properties. When System Registration Information Window appears, select Device Manager in Hardware tab. * Check : [System Registration Information] → [hardware] → [Device Manager] → USB Controller. If the driver has not been installed, please check if the main board used supports USB 2.0.

OK : start anysee view * After starting anysee view, you can see the message ‘No channel, Scan channel first’. Click the OK, it appear the configuration window and please select Channel scan then press Auto Scan.

You may select the screen size from 4 choices. You can watch the TV or file play in screen window. You can adjust window size using the mouse on window edge. On Screen window, you can show the Menu when press the mouse right button. You select Display size and change the window size freely.

Configuration(C) : Used to set up the program configuration. Always On Top : Always displays the anysee program on top. Change Mode : Change the Mode. HOW TO USE THE ANYSEE APPLICATION Control Panel The functions of Control Panel are as follows. Control Buttons Power off button : Finishes an anysee program. Configuration button : Used to set up the program configuration. Help button : Shows Help information. Minimize button : Minimizes the anysee program. Mute button : Mute On/Off. Volume control button: Enables to control volume level with a mouse. Rewind button : Plays back the file that it is being played. Pause button : Pauses the screen.
HOW TO USE THE ANYSEE APPLICATION Status Display TV / Radio : Indicates TV or Radio broadcasting currently being played File / Live : Indicates playing of the saved file or live broadcasting. Channel Number : Shows the current channel number. Channel Name : Shows the current channel name. Current Time : Shows the current time. Mute : Indicates muted sound with change of color to red. Volume : Shows the current volume level. Signal Strength : Shows the strength of the current signal.
HOW TO USE THE ANYSEE APPLICATION Mode anysee E50 support Digital TV / Analog TV / Video / S-Video / Game Mode / File. You can change the mode as below. Digital TV : Watch the digital TV(HDTV or SDTV) which input the digital signal from Antenna or Cable. Analog TV: Watch the analog TV which input the analog signal from Antenna or Cable. Video : Watch the video, sound from video camera, VCR, etc. S-Video : Watch the video from input s-video signal. Game : Use the Play station or Xbox, etc.
HOW TO USE THE ANYSEE APPLICATION Scan Channel / DIGITAL TV mode Using the anysee E-Series and antenna for receiving the digital signal, you watch the digital TV in home or outdoor. There are two methods of scanning the channels, automatic scan and manual scan. For automatic scan, perform the following sequence and for manual scan, move to menu for signal reception. The performance of signal reception varies depending of the antenna capacity and locations.
HOW TO USE THE ANYSEE APPLICATION Digital TV : Select Digital TV channel scan. QAM Scan : Select Digital Cable channel scan. ③ Auto Scan : If you click Auto Scan, channel search will begin automatically.All channels are scanned automatically. If no reception has been made, check the settings of country and reception rate again. Stop : If you click Stop Scan, channel search will stop. Click Stop Scan when the reception of the wanted channel has been made to stop the scanning.
HOW TO USE THE ANYSEE APPLICATION Scan Channel / ANALOG TV mode Using the anysee E-Series and antenna for receiving the analog signal, you watch the analog TV in home or outdoor. But you can’t measure the degree of sensitive of analog. The performance of signal reception varies depending of the antenna capacity and locations. Channel Scan is Auto Scan and Manual Scan. When anysee is turned on after the installation of anysee program, a message, There is no channel. Please scan channels first, appears.
HOW TO USE THE ANYSEE APPLICATION If the required channel was not found, Not Found window appears as shown below. ④ Signal : Disable in analog TV mode ⑤ Show the scanned channel. TV : 0 → show the number of scanned TV program. Radio : 0 → show the number of scanned Radio program. ⑥ Create New Channel List : If you hope to delete the priority channel list, please check and make new channel list. ⑦ For manual scan, please input channel and frequency directly.
HOW TO USE THE ANYSEE APPLICATION Edit Channel / DIGITAL TV mode You can edit channel list or creat new list of favorites. 1 2 4 5 6 7 ① Select Edit Channel in configuration. If you receive the weak signal program, you can delete that in channel list. Please check the signal indicator under edit channel. ② If you hope to creat new list of favorites, please check the CH No. in Channel box. Favorite list is located in right side on the screen. Digital broadcasting system indicates “D” in channel list.

Favorite list is located in right side on the screen. Analog broadcasting system indicates “A” in channel list. Edit Channel name : Analog channel don’t provide program information. So user input the channel information.
HOW TO USE THE ANYSEE APPLICATION Capture Anysee is able to record SD, HD and capture of image. 2 1 3 4 5 6 ① Select Capture in configuration. ② Set up recording. Folder : Click this button to view the location to which the recorded file was saved files. You can change the folder. Standard folder position is 'C : \ Program Files \ anysee \ anysee - K 50 \ RECORD'. Filename : You may change the name of the recorded file here, e.g., name_CH_date_time. TRP(In digital TV), name_CH_date_time.
HOW TO USE THE ANYSEE APPLICATION PC, DVD mode requires highest performance. (Attention)Files recorded by MPEG-1 and VCD are not replayed in file mode, and if you hope to show the MPEG-1 and VCD file, you have to use Windows Media Player or other multimedia video Players. Quality : Please choose the kind of record quality. (Lowest Quality, Low Quality, Normal, Height Quality, Best Quality)According to your computer performance, you can choose the kind of record quality.
HOW TO USE THE ANYSEE APPLICATION Skins Just follow below step. Select (TV/Radio) Skins tab. You can find the folder to be saved (TV/radio) skins file below window. You can preview radio skins below window. If you click Apply button, you can see (TV/radio) skins to be changed below window. You can select the skin as your taste. Then you can download new skin on anysee home page.(http://www.anysee.com or http://www.anysee.co.kr) (it is update continuously.

Use Remote Control : Click here to use Remote Control function. Remote control Sound On: Click here to turn on your Remote Control Sound. Your computer powers off by RCU ”power” button (Please keep pressing it for 3 second) : If you press about 3 second the power button on remote controller, computer is finished.
HOW TO USE THE ANYSEE APPLICATION Time Shift 2 1 3 4 ① Select TimeShift Setting. ② Set TimeShift : Set up the location and time of recorded file. ③ Notice : Temporary recordable time to save in hard disk as user select. Max recordable time always set up to 60 minutes although the recordable time in hard disk is over 60 minutes.. ④ OK : Exit configuration.

If other graphic card that does not support DxVA function is used, CPU usage may increase considerably or intermittent screen stops may appear due to frame drops. (Graphic card must support accelerator.

HOW TO USE THE ANYSEE APPLICATION Functions After installation anysee Series and scanning channel, you can watch the TV. This chapter explains how to watch in mode. In Digital TV mode and Analog TV mode, after scanning channel and you can watch TV. Digital TV Using change mode in control panel, switch digital TV mode. Please move curser to left side in screen and select channel. Turn mouse's wheel or using volume control button in control panel left, adjust volume.

Please check the external input setting in "capture". Turn mouse's wheel or using volume control button in control panel left, adjust volume. HOW TO USE THE ANYSEE APPLICATION EPG (Electronic Program Guide) anysee allows the user to view the TV program schedule in real time without having to consult other media (newspaper, magazine, etc). Also, the user can choose any desired time for reserved recording. You can view EPG (Electronic Program Guide) using EPG button in the Control Panel, Video window controller or Show Program Guide in the pop up menu. 3 1 2 4 5 ① You can view the selected channel, the current date and time.
HOW TO USE THE ANYSEE APPLICATION Recording List : You can see the list of the reservation of recording. Refresh : You can refresh EPG. OK : Exit Electronic Program Guide, return Screen. Click Recording Setup button to setup the reservation of recording. In analog TV mode, if you click EPG button, you can show Recording Setup window. The user can select any station, reserve recording and view the program anytime later. The date and time are based on the registered date and time supported by Windows.
HOW TO USE THE ANYSEE APPLICATION Favorite Channel List This function allows you to create your favorite channel list. Search and check the channel from the list in Edit Channel. If you move the mouse cursor to the right side of the TV screen, you can view your favorite channel list. If you hope to make the favorite list, please check the channels in edit channel.
HOW TO USE THE ANYSEE APPLICATION Sleep Timer This function allows you to set the timer to turn off the program. Select Sleep Timer in the pop up menu, select On-time until closing. The sleep timer will then be shown. If your selected option is as shown in below Configuration window, your Window OS will shut down at the same time as the program terminates.

Select Picture Control in control panel, you can adjust brightness, light and darkness, density, color according to user’s environment and state of input signal. Brightness : Adjust bright of screen. Light and Darkness : Adjust light and dark of screen. Density : Adjust density of screen. Color : Adjust color of screen.
HOW TO USE THE ANYSEE APPLICATION Time Shift You can use time shift that you click pause button in digital TV mode, you are able to watch TV continuously. It works in Digital TV mode only. How to use time shift : During watching digital TV, if you hope to suspend the broadcasting, press pause button. Screen is suspended and program is stored in your computer. Press play button in control panel, you can watch from suspended screen. How to stop : Press stop button or change channel and mode.

No TV reception Check the connection of USB cable and antenna Check for proper installation of anysee driver Check if Windows XP was updated with SP2. SP1 user must install Hotfix KB822603 and patch USB 2.
5. INTRODUCION INSTALLATION Main Board or PC does not support USB 2.0 Desktop Computer Use other card that supports USB 2.0. Notebook Computer Use PCMCIA USB 2.0 card No sound generation. Check if the driver of the sound card was properly installed Test Mute at anysee environment setting No screen output Update the driver with the manufacturer’s latest driver. Click Stop button in anysee control panel and click Replay button Re-install anysee program.
5. INTRODUCION INSTALLATION Check if usable space in hard disk is enough for recording of more than 1 hour. anysee stops or blue screen appears occasionally. Check the Device manager to see if the driver has been properly installed. If “?” symbol appears, re-install the driver. Screen intermittently stops while recording. If recording speed of hard disk is below 4MBps, screen may intermittently stop during viewing.. Recorded screen may also stops likewise.
5. INTRODUCION INSTALLATION no channel list exists, move to Scan Channel tab and click auto scan or manual scan button to generate a list of receivable. Check if reception rate of the channel is over 50%. Can I use other type of antenna? It is OK to connect Satellite Master Antenna (outdoor antenna), directional antenna, road antenna or wire cable. Directional antenna and cable wire provides better quality screen. PC does not identify anysee product or anysee driver does not appear in Device Manager.
