Connecting the VCR
P res s INP UT button on the remote control and select video s ources .
Insert a video tape into the V C R and pres s the P LAY button on the V C R .

To avoid pic ture nois e (interference), leave an adequate distance (over 3m) between the V C R and T V.
When connecting the T V with external equipment, match the colour of connecting ports (e.g. Video -Yellow,
Audio(L) - W hite, Audio(R ) - R ed).
If you have a mono VC R , connect the audio cable from the VC R to the AUDIO (L/Mono) input of the T V.
If you connect an S -V HS V C R to the S -VIDE O input s ocket, you can get a better picture quality than normal video
input (AV ).
With S -V IDE O
C onnect a S -Video cable to the S -Video jacks of the V C R and the T V.
C onnect L (White), R (R ed) sound cable (C omposite) to the s ound jacks of the V C R and the T V.
With AV Input
C onnect a composite cable to the AV video jacks of the V C R and the TV.
C onnect L (White), R (R ed) sound cable (C omposite) to the s ound jacks of the V C R and the T V.
