When you power-on the system, the BIOS will check last system POST status. If POST succeeded, the BIOS will enable “Watch Dog Timer” function immediately, and set the CPU FSB frequency by user’s setting that stored in the BIOS. In order to work together, the two devices on each channel must be set differently to Master and Slave mode. Either one can be the hard disk or the CDROM.
