Plug in IDE cable
When connecting IDE cable, please note that the red-line should be aimed at the first
pin next to the power cord.
Plug in audio cable
The audio cable is a small cable composed of red, black and white lines. The red line
is used to connect the right volume channel while the white one is used to connect the
left volume channel. And the black line is used as earthing. As a result, when
connecting the audio cable to CD-ROM drive, plug the red line to the side marked "R"
and the white line to the side marked "L".

What is audio
cable for?
When you play music with
CD-ROM player, the digital
music data is transmitted to
audio device through this
cable. That’s why you can
hear the music through
speakers.
