This specification applies to all APC CORK’s references of floating floor panels with a vinyl
surface layer and a total thickness of 9.5mm, with the known trade name of VINYL CORK.
Definition
Panels consisting of a compact high density fibreboard layer, a bonded surface layer of Luxury
Vinyl and a back layer of soft agglomerated cork as underlay.
The core material (substrate) is tongued and grooved with a special profile design (UNICLIC®) to
allow the panels to be assembled together mechanically, without the use of glue.
Materials
Surface: 2mm thickness luxury vinyl with 0.33mm wear layer.
Substrate: High density fibreboard 6.5 mm thickness with very low formaldehyde content (E1).
Backing: Insulating soft agglomerated cork sheet.
Adhesive: Solvent-free modified PVA emulsion (D3 grade).
